The
MF010-O-LC dynamic oxygen measuring system from J. Dittrich
Elektronic is the fail-safe way to determine the residual oxygen
content in furnace exhaust gas. With the help of a coupled controller
the excess air specified for reasons of safety can be minimised and
combustion in the furnace optimised, thereby increasing efficiency. In
this way it is possible to compensate for fluctuations in the quality of
fuels for modern wood firing. Contrary to a lambda probe which measures
the relative oxygen content, the extremely robust oxygen measuring
system determines the absolute content, i.e. the oxygen partial pressure
in the exhaust gas. For this reason, fluctuations in air pressure,
humidity and temperature have no influence on the accuracy of the
measurement. The system is calibrated electrically, without reference
gas and without additional personnel, in atmospheric air at the end of
the furnace’s ventilation phase, thereby reducing maintenance work. This

robust self-contained oxygen transmitter that makes oxygen measurement
in the process industry as simple as a field pressure or temperature
measurement. While traditional paramagnetic oxygen analysers suffer from
drift, Michell’s latest thermo paramagnetic technology makes this
transmitter almost drift-free. The XTP600 measures oxygen content

With

developments in technology to measure of oxygen at both trace (ppm)

applications mean that a particular type of oxygen analyser, developed
with a specific technology, is required for each situation. The complete
range of Michell Oxygen Analysers use a selection of technologies each
suited to a different set of applications. The analysers of the XZR-400
and XZR-500 series are based on the unique MSRS Zirconium Oxide
technology for accurate and repeatable oxygen concentration measurement.
The XZR-400 is designed for detecting oxygen in clean gases while the
XZR-500 is designed for flue gas analysis. Due to their patented
metallic sealed reference Zirconium Oxide Sensor, there is no need for
reference air making the installation of both ranges simple and cost
