presents a new camera technology for high color quality requirements.
The so called HQ Color Technology is based on the internal real-time
Baumer CIELAB Engine to deliver brilliant colors with a single sensor
that can only otherwise be realized with 3 CCD cameras. The patented
algorithm also excels with very sharp edges, a feature that
significantly improves the clear contour determination of cohesive color
areas. Cameras with HQ Color Technology provide a significantly higher
quality with regard to color fidelity and color noise. This ensures high
stability with minimum color deviation between different cameras.
Especially applications in the food industry, pharmaceutical inspection
or life science are benefiting from this advanced technology. The first

and reliable contrast differentiation. The new KS30
contrast sensor combines small 3mm spot size and 40 kHz
fast response to achieve high-speed contrast
differentiation of both neutral and colour targets. The
white light LED allows accurate detection of a wide
range of colours against any background. Two
seven-segment displays provide a visual representation
of the relative intensity from 00 to 50. Two gain
settings and three LED intensity settings provide for
flexible operation over a wide range of conditions. The
small spot size allows the resolution necessary to
achieve accurate timing and position measurements. The
discrete outputs provide the high-speed interface PNP/NPN

developed for color recognition and inspection of color LEDs and
selfluminous systems at multiple stations. Using external lighting, such
as LEDCONTROL 160 – 12 MLux illumination, the system is now also capable
of classifying colored carpets, veneers, medical capsules, detecting
correct filling in colored liquids, color sequences etc. simultaneously
at multiple stations. Three versions with 20, 55 and 100 test stations
are available, using fibre optic technology to recognize the light. The
systems test for color, function and intensity in RGB or HSI color

the “ColorControl MFA”, Eltrotec Sensor GmbH supplies an
integrated test system that is capable of monitoring and classifying the
color, intensity and function of LEDs and self- luminous systems at up
to 100 measuring stations simultaneously. The LEDs to be tested are
assigned to a test matrix using light guides (up to 2 meters possible)
and a mounting adapter responsible for positioning. Array resolution of
1024 x 768 is used. The system works with high dynamic range and will
detect low-emitting LEDs up to high-emitting types in a range from 200 -
4000 lux intensity. In the color spectrum RGB or HSI range there is a
resolution for each better than Delta E of 1. The integrated testing
software can be adapted for specific user processes. As well as
calibration and white balance, image parameters can be assigned to the
relevant positions of the LEDs to be tested. The detection evaluation
