Series 46B diffuse reflection light
scanner sets whole new standards |
| |
The
new series 46B reflection light scanners from Leuze electronic
offer considerably greater performance reserves and ranges coupled with
an increased setting range. High-speed commissioning with the aid of
brightVision® and Ultra-Lock™, reliable detection of wide-ranging
different objects and a long service life even under adverse
environmental conditions guarantee low costs over the entire life cycle
of the product. Enhanced transmission performance and improved sensor
technology in the HRT 46B from Leuze open up scope for impressive
operating ranges of up to 2500 millimetres. Characteristic of this
scanner is also its high performance reserves for the reliable detection
of dark and shiny objects even where long working distances are
involved. Special versions are available with an optimized light spot,
permitting reliable detection of coloured structured objects against a
close background. With this range of benefits, these sensors are ideally
suitable for ... |

Bar code reader series BCL 31/32/34 – for
greater vision! |
| |
Leuze:
The proven bar code reader series BCL 3x has just got even better,
benefiting from a number of innovative production technologies and
on-going technological development. One new feature is the F lens, a
special lens permitting greater ranges of up to 100 mm
(module-dependent). All the highlights which have traditionally
distinguished this bar code reader series are still very much in place.
Holding an outstanding market track record for over six years already is
bar code reader BCL 34 with integrated PROFIBUS. The benfits in concrete
terms: - Direct, simple parameterization directly via PROFIBUS -
Extremely low mounting depth - Low reading distance and high depth of
field - Full PROFIBUS transmission rate of 12 Mbit/s - No gateway
required - Plug and play. In large-scale logistics centres designed for
high speed and high throughput which are networked using PROFIBUS, these
technical advantages translate into major customer benefits. The BCL 34
bar code reader makes ... |

Configurable Sampling Systems for Dew
Point Instrumentation |
| |
The
ES10 Sampling System range has been launched by Michell Instruments
to complement their excellent range of accurate and stable dew point
instrumentation. To ensure accurate and stable dew point or moisture
measurement, it is important that the hygrometer is exposed to a
representative sample of gas. This gas needs to be free of contaminants,
at the correct pressure and at a flow rate that ensures a fast response
to changing conditions. The ES10 sampling systems are an economical
method of mounting any of the Michell Instruments range of impedance dew
point transmitters and providing the necessary filtration, sample flow,
and analysis pressure. In applications as diverse as compressed air,
medical gas or industrial process control, the ES10 sampling systems can
be specified to exactly meet the requirements of the customer, and the
dew point instrumentation utilised. ... |

Cognex introduces next-generation vision
system - In-Sight® Micro: the world’s smallest, smartest, and easiest
vision system |
| |
|
Make it small. Make it smart. Make it easy. That’s what Cognex
has achieved with the next-generation In-Sight Micro vision system.
In-Sight Micro packs a complete vision system into a remarkably small
package that measures just 30mm x 30mm x 60mm. Together with the new,
intuitive EasyBuilderTM configuration software, and smart VisionViewTM
operator interface display, In-Sight Micro will forever change the way
people think about and use vision. “What’s truly revolutionary about the
In-Sight Micro vision system is that it transforms machine vision into a
much more affordable and accessible solution for so many people,” said
Justin Testa, Cognex Senior Vice President. “Now even users unfamiliar
with machine vision systems will find it easy to set up and deploy
machine vision applications.” The In-Sight Micro is a full vision system
the size of a remote-head camera, ideal for mounting in very tight
spaces on robots, production lines and machinery. In addition to small
size, the In-Sight Micro provides flexible mounting capability with a
unique non-linear calibration tool that enables mounting at angles of up
to 45-degrees for hard-to-reach applications. ... |

Cognex introduces new CHECKER vision
sensor - Checker 232 inspects small features over a wide area |
| |
|
Cognex Corporation (NASDAQ - CGNX), the world's leading supplier
of machine vision systems and vision sensors has added the Checker® 232
model to its award-winning Checker vision sensor product line. Designed
to inspect small features over a wide area, Checker 232 provides
reliable inspection results on the fastest production lines, detecting
and inspecting up to 1,500 parts per minute. Checker 232 is ideal for
applications where small features are being inspected on large parts,
such as the inspection of clips and springs on large automotive
assemblies. Checker 232 is also ideal when a much longer working
distance is needed and the vision sensor must be mounted far from the
area to be inspected. “Customers value the simplicity and power of
Checker vision sensors because they offer a very cost-effective option
for inspections where traditional sensors are not reliable and a
full-blown vision system is too expensive,” said Pascal Dorster, Senior
Director, Vision Sensors Business Unit. “The Checker 232 extends the
versatility of the Checker product line so customers can solve a broader
range of inspection applications more effectively.” Unlike traditional
sensors, ... |

Printing Control - ultrasonic lcs-Sensor |
| |
microsonic
GmbH: The ultrasonic sensors of the lcs range by microsonic have
been employed in machines and systems for many years. microsonic has now
completely re-engineered the lcs sensors and added some interesting new
features. The sensors now feature a smaller size and a 5-pole M12 plug
connection. In addition to the known variants with 2 pnp switched
outputs and one analogue output, a version with 3 pnp switched outputs
is now available. To ease their commissioning and maintenance in the
field, microsonic developed a particularly smart solution: In connection
with the LCA-2, a handy programming adapter with 4 buttons and a 3-digit
digital display, the detect points of all 3 switched outputs as well as
the filter settings can be adjusted via a menu prompt. After new sensor
settings have been made, they can be transferred to any number of lcs
sensors with the LinkCopy function integrated in the LCA-2. In service
cases, the current measured values of the Ics sensors can also be
directly indicated ... |
