Compact Ultra High Purity Pressure Gauge,
nominal size 2" with electrical contacts (Reed-switch) |
| |
For
use in clean rooms or in bulk gas supply systems, WIKA has
developed a new design of gauge for ultra-high purity applications. Due
to its very compact size, mounting in extremely limited spaces is
possible. The electropolished 2”-case houses an electrical contact which
makes or breaks when the pressure either falls or rises. The switching
function does not have to be defined during design or at the point of
ordering, but rather can be set via simple wiring on site. The switch
contacts operate across a wide proportion of the full scale range, and
are freely scalable on site. The gauge, manufactured entirely from
stainless steel, meets the requirements of Ultra High Purity
applications as well as the SEMI and SEMATECH standards. The units are
produced under clean-room conditions, with the cleaning and rinsing of
the wetted parts also carried out under clean-room conditions. The gauge
can also be delivered with different measuring ranges

Programming Kit for SCHMIDT® Flow Sensors |
| |
SCHMIDT
Technology GmbH: This programming kit allows the analogue current
outputs (0 … 20 mA or 4 … 20 mA), analogue voltage outputs (0 … 2V, 0 …
5V, 0 … 10V) and the response times (0,01 … 10s) of the SCHMIDT® Flow
Sensors SS 20.400 and SS 20.415 to be adapted to the operation
requirements. Trigger-levels of the switching outputs OC1 and OC2 are
adjustable between 0 … 100% of the end value. The polarity can be
inverted. The diagnostic function enables to read the sensor parameters
and to find the cause of an eventual malfunction. The programming
interface includes the programming box, the RS232 interface cable and
the user-friendly software suitable for PC's with Windows 2000 or XP
with RS232 or optionally USB interface. The programming box is equipped
with a luminous diode based display area for the status of OC1, OC2 and
the flow signal output of the connected sensor.

NWU-1X ultra high purity transducers with
ATEX and FM approvals |
| |
WIKA:
New approvals and extended functionalities open up a wide variety of new
markets and applications for the NWU-1X. In addition to the already
existing Ex approvals according to ATEX Zone 2 Ex nA/nL the model NWU-1X
transducer has now also been certified according to FM Class 1 Division
2. Gas and plant manufacturers who supply the European, North American
and Asiatic markets with their products now only need one single UHP Ex
transducer model to be able to serve all of these markets. In order to
ensure a high degree of application flexibility, the NWU-1X approval has
been extended by the optional feature ’lateral zero point potentiometer
input’ and ‘1/2“-3/8“ Weld Tee' process connections.

Handy Cylinder Pressure Meter for Engine
Diagnostics |
| |
The
new engine peak meter Type 2516A10 from Kistler is a
user-friendly instrument for measuring cylinder pressure. It is ready
for immediate use without set up on the engine. This battery powered
meter provides important measurement data for engine diagnostics
directly at the point of use. It measures the peak pressure and
calculates the pressure curve from an adjustable number of pressure
cycles (pressure/time). The numerical measurement data is shown
instantly after measurement on the large LCD display. Changes in both
the peak pressure and the overall variation in pressure can be detected
and recorded with the included software. It is also possible to compare
pressure curves and peak pressure values with earlier measurements. The
well proven piezoelectric pressure sensor Type 7613C is used for
measuring the pressure at the indicator valve. This robust sensor is
characterized by its high degree of accuracy and long-term stability,
and can be readily used on the indicator valve, even at high
temperatures.
