New clamp-on flowmeter from KROHNE in
practice |
| |
|
OPTISONIC 6300 for measuring demineralized water. The new OPTISONIC 6300
ultrasonic flowmeter from KROHNE has already proved itself in a
range of applications since its introduction. A Swiss chemical company
uses the OPTISONIC 6300 to measure the volumetric flow of demineralized
water for steam production. As inline measurement, with interruption of
the process for the installation of measuring devices, was ruled out for
the chemical company, KROHNE recommended the OPTISONIC 6300. |
|
|
This device is easy to install on the pipeline, in this case 2.6mm thick
stainless steel pipe. The clamp-on measuring device measures the
volumetric flow, which can be up to 70 m3/h. The OPTISONIC 6300 from
KROHNE is a clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter, which is not just easy to
install, but is also exceptionally reliable. The OPTISONIC 6300 sets new
standards in the market on both counts. With the signal quality display
integrated in the electronics of the OPTISONIC 6300 measurement
inaccuracy is reduced to a minimum. The OPTISONIC can be installed very
quickly without training or special tools. ... |

New PT9000 double ended shear beam load
cell from PT |
| |
 |
The PT9000 double ended shear beam load cell is PT`s Ltd latest
in load cells. The PT9000 is a medium to high capacity nickel plated
tool steel, double ended shear beam load cell for tank, bin, general
vessel, silo weighing and for weigh bridges from 120Klb to 150Klb
(approx 9T to 68T). |
|
|
PT9000 is a fully sealed tool steel IP67 and 3mV/V double ended shear
beam load cell with combined error of only 0.02% all up. Linearity is
only 0.017%. Designed for use in industrial environments including
outdoors where the IP67 rating helps protect it from wash down and other
harsh activities. Bin, tank and hopper weighing is made easy with the
PT9000M TWA, Tank Weighing Assembly (TWA) a complete mounting accessory. ... |

Variable area flowmeters in systems
engineering |
| |
|
VA 40 Variable area flowmeters for industrial furnaces. As the global
market leader for variable area flowmeters, KROHNE offers the VA
40, an impressive device for the area of industrial furnaces,
particularly in heavy industry. A well-known systems engineer uses
KROHNE variable area flowmeters with glass cones for measuring gases
such as air, ammonia, propane, nitrogen etc. as well as fluids such as
air or methanol. |
|
|
Typically the user would like to implement reliable and simple flow
measurement, allowing on-site readings by operating personnel.
Regardless of the nominal diameters and connections, the VA 40 always
has the same compact installation length and this is one of the major
reasons why it is so popular among systems engineers. KROHNE equips
every measuring cone with a scale, designed for the medium to be
measured and for the operating conditions. ... |

Amplified Miniature Ultra-Low Pressure
Sensors for High Accuracy OEM Device Applications |
| |
|
Sensortechnics, new HCLA pressure sensors combine high precision
digital signal conditioning with innovative miniature package styles.
These sensors are suitable for ultra-low gage or differential pressure
measurements from 2.5…75 mbar. The HCLA series utilises the latest ASIC
technologies to offer amplified analogue and digital I2C output signals. |
|
|
Additionally, SPI or switching outputs as well as custom specific
outputs are available on request. HCLA sensors use a dual chip
compensation technique to achieve a very high offset stability and
virtually no position sensitivity in comparison to conventional sensors.
A 3 V supply voltage (standard 5 V) is available as an option and makes
the HCLA pressure sensors ideal for portable device applications. A wide
range of miniature single inline and SMT housing options allows for
space-saving PCB-mounting and maximum OEM design flexibility.
Sensortechnics customisation service can provide very fast and flexible
mechanical or electronic sensor modifications based on customer specific
requirements. ... |
