pressure transmitter ED701 is now available with a cooling neck for
applications with high media temperatures of up to 300 °C. Thus, the
device is suitable for pressure measurement especially in sterilisation
processes in the pharmaceutical, chemical and food & beverage industries
as well as in medical technology. The ED701 features high accuracy and
long-term stability. It is available with several industrial and
hygienic process connections. Even without cooling neck, the
pressure transmitter is suitable for media temperatures of up to 150
°C, with a standard cooling neck for temperatures of up to 200 °C, and
with an extended cooling neck for up to 300 °C. Due to the active
compensation of temperature drifts, the ED701 has a very high measuring
accuracy (up to 0.1 % F.S.). Furthermore, the device features a high
long-term stability (0.1 % per year) and excellent repeatability. If

approval for our load cell model B6N for OIML C3 (3000d) low profile
applications. The B6N gives multiple- and multi range possibilities.
(Z=6000). The stainless steel single point is fully compatible with the
aluminium
load cell model L6N and is suitable for platforms up to 400x400mm.
The B6N has standard a 6-wire 1m cable but can be changed upon request.
PTB has certified the B6N load cell and filed under Test report
D09-10.10 and the OIML certificate is filed under number

thermo-voltage) at high voltage potentials is required for testing
hybrid or electric drives as well as for measuring the quality of a
network, e.g. in wind energy plants. The A123, A124 and A128 modules
have been added to the Q.series to meet these requirements. Three
different versions of the new modules are available: As Q.bloxx for
top-hat rail mounting, as Q.brixx for portable systems or as Q.raxx in

Sensor Technologie München GmbH: Clear liquids such as water cannot
be detected by optical means in transparent pipes or containers without
further ado. It gets especially difficult if the pipe diameter is very
small or if the containers are only semi-transparent. When using
optical
sensors for detection of water levels, the effects of light transmission
and refraction in water can interfere with one another to such an extent
that measurements are actually reversed, especially in the interaction
with the container walls. To solve this problem, the through beam
sensors of the MICROmote® “JJ” series were developed by STM. The
transmitters work in the upper infrared range. In the absorption
spectrum of water there is at this point a maximum and the light of this
wavelength is absorbed by the individual molecules. Water thus becomes
“non-transparent” for the optical system and detection is drastically

output as a standardized voltage. For these applications, HBM now
offers the MX878 output module - a new module of the flexible and
powerful QuantumX data acquisition system. The output module has eight
analog voltage outputs that can be individually configured. The module
enables system signals to be output as scaled and filtered values in the
range of ±10 V. All signals supplied by the amplifiers can be used as
signal sources. This makes individual monitoring or forwarding of system

offers integrated local intelligence that enables measured values to be
analyzed or set off against each other in real time using algebraic

blind hollow bore shaft encoder, the HBA4. This
single turn absolute
encoder provides 16-bits of resolution over 360 degrees of shaft
rotation. The HBA4 is available with a 12 mm or 0.500” diameter bore
size with either a ball bearing or sleeve bushing bearing assembly and
is sealed to an IP65 rating. The absolute encoder slips over a shaft and
is locked in place with a unique self centering ring clamp. A fl exible
anti-rotation tether provides single point mounting for bolt circles
ranging from 2.50” up to 5.00” in diameter and compensates for shaft run
out up to +/- 0.01”. The HBA4 communicates serially to a host via the

metrology technology specialist HBM is expanding its range of
piezoelectric force washers into the lower nominal (rated) forces
with the 20 kN version of the CFW series. The new force washer has a
diameter of just 14.5 mm and a height of 7 mm, and is therefore very
compact in relationship to its nominal force, allowing it to be easily
integrated in applications, even in those where very little space is
available. The piezoelectric principle of measurement with which the
force washer works has a sensitivity that does not depend on the nominal
force and it is therefore recommended for measurements in the partial
load ranges where greater resolution is required. The symmetrical design
of the sensor represents good linearity characteristic and simple
mounting as the inner and outer ring of the sensor can be solidly

triaxial accelerometers designed for modal analysis testing. The
3363A series are IEPE-type piezoelectric sensors and feature a robust,
laser welded titanium design which includes ceramic sensing elements
coupled to ultra low noise JFET electronics. With a low end frequency
response of -5% down to 0.3 Hz, the 3363A series accelerometer offers
excellent phase response at low frequencies. They also feature an
excellent signal to noise ratio. The 3363A series accelerometers are
available in sensitivities of 10mV/g, 50mV/g and 100mV/g. They have a
10-32 stud mount, 4-pin radial connector and are hermetically sealed for
