 With
the compact, new WIKA CPH6600 hand-held
pressure indicator, a pressure calibrator with an integrated pump is
now available to users within the process industries. Since an external
hand pump is not required, calibration tasks can now be carried out
easier and quicker. The new hand-held generates pressures of up to 10
bar with an integrated electrical pump, manually up to 20 bar is
possible. It operates with a high accuracy of +- 0.025 % FS. The range
of application of the new CPH6600 is expandable, e.g. for pressures up
to 700 bar, through the connection of an appropriate external module. In
addition, in combination with a
temperature sensor a simultaneous temperature measurement is also

 Leuze
electronic: Wherever food, beverages, pharmaceutical products or
even cosmetics are manufactured, processed or packaged, hygienic design
has become a central requirement for machines and systems. Leuze
electronic presents new, globally unique contrast scanners in WASH-DOWN
design that withstand the increasingly necessary and more intensive
cleaning and disinfection cycles. In addition to the contrast scanners
of the 3B series, Leuze electronic has, with the KRT 55 contrast
scanners, developed a scalable housing technology. Its V4A stainless
steel housing makes this technology particularly well suited for areas
that are intensively cleaned and disinfected. The new sensors fulfill
the requirements of ECOLAB, IP67, IP69K and also the CleanProof+
standard defined by Leuze. Here, Leuze electronic extends the test range
by including additional substances, testing at increased temperatures.

transducer designed as a solution to severe applications like rocket
engine testing that can ruin a typical
pressure sensor. Model GT100 features a cleanable pressure cavity
and a stainless steel diaphragm which can be replaced in the field as
needed, renewing the sensor in just a few minutes. The GT100 has a
standard output of 3mV/V and delivers linearity and hysteresis of 0.25%
across pressure ranges from 150 psig to 20,000 psig. Exceptional thermal
isolation ensures reliable performance over an operating temperature of
-100°F to +300°F. The compensated temperature range is -30° to +170°F,

Michell Instruments helps preserve
‘iconic’ artwork |

 Michell
Instruments has loaned two instruments to the National Needlework
Archive (NNA) to help preserve an iconic mural. Designed by Constance
Howard for the Festival of Britain in 1951 ‘The Country Wife’ is
considered to be one of the 20th Century’s most important textile works.
However, after nearly 60 years, the mural is in urgent need of
restoration work to ensure its survival. Part of the preservation
process involves storing the work in an anoxia bubble where levels of
oxygen are maintained at 1% with a relative humidity of less than 50% at
23°C. In order to monitor this environment, the NNA is using two of
Michell’s instruments: an XTP600
Oxygen Transmitter and a DM509 RH
handheld device. The XTP600 uses the highly stable thermo-paramagnetic
sensing technology to measure levels of oxygen in gases. With its high
reliability and low maintenance requirements it is ideal for
applications such as this where an instrument is needed to monitor

load cell line the: LPM200 Panel Mount Load Cell. The LPM200 Panel
Mount Load Cell is a model from FUTEK’s miniature Sensors line. As an
extra feature, this model may also be offered with a USB output option.
The Panel Mount Load Cell (LPM200) offers distinct advantage in its
miniature size, a robust flexure and low capacity of 10 gram to 5 lbs. A
common challenge for low capacity sensors is the damage the sensor can
incur during installation. With the LPM200’s design, this challenge has
been greatly minimized. Furthermore, the product features an overload
protection of 1000% (note that this percentage is not a typo and we do
mean 1000%) of Rated Output for all the capacities (10 grams to 5 lbs).
The installation of the product also became a critical design focus for
FUTEK Engineers. By threading the flexure, the LPM200 can easily be
