electronic presents Multiple Light Beam Safety Devices and, for the
first time, 3-beam Transceiver systems as well in various function
classes for access guarding, also with Muting. And no additional modules
are necessary! It is advantageous from a cost effectiveness and optimum
usability standpoint to use safety sensors that are characterized by
functions that match the specific requirements of the given application
as closely as possible. Leuze electronic developed the new MLD 300 (type
2, PLd) and MLD 500 (type 4, PLe) series Multiple Light Beam Safety
Devices especially with this in mind. The individual models of the
respective series are equipped with certain features and capabilities
(function classes). By selecting a given function class, the user can
appropriately determine the performance of his safety sensor for the
application and the respective requirements. For example, the
start/restart interlock and contactor monitoring functions are available
and, if necessary, various Muting modes can be selected. As a result,
the series can be used both as standard access guarding as well as for
applications where sequential, parallel or partial Muting is required.

Technology, Inc.: The Model LPS60X AC/AC LVDT is designed for
precision displacement and position measurement for quality assurance
applications in industrial environments. These high accuracy
displacement sensors are constructed of stainless steel and utilize a
ball probe to smoothly interface with the target. The spring guided
armature is supported with precision linear ball bearings to ensure
excellent repeatability, high life cycle, and stable overall performance.
The compact LPS60X LVDT’s Series measures displacement from ± 0.02
inches to ±0.2 inches, with 0.25% linearity, and infinite resolution.
Operating temperature is from -40° to 212°F. The unit features a 6’
integral Polyurethane insulated cable which is resistant to oils and
chemicals. All Series LPS60X displacement transducers are shipped with

dew-point measurements in vacuums as low as
0.05 mbar, making it unique in its category. It is ideal for
applications, such as oil refilling of transformers, which involve
vacuum pumping. Many high voltage transformers, especially those
switching many thousands of kVA (such as the types found in power plant
sub-stations), are filled completely with a refined mineral oil. This
serves several purposes; most importantly the oil must act as a main
part of the transformer’s insulation, though it also serves to cool the
transformer. Moisture inside transformers adversely affects the

recently released a line of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) and Compressed
Natural Gas (CNG)
pressure sensors to support vehicles and industrial
equipment utilizing alternative fuels – a growing market around the
world. Alternative fuels are no longer a novelty but a bona fide
alternative to gasoline and diesel fuels. These fuel options are being
adopted by municipalities and other governmental agencies as an option
for fleet vehicles such as cars, buses, truck, and other service
vehicles such as fork lifts. Typical applications would include
monitoring and measuring low pressure for fuel rail, high pressure for

was to deal with the heat generated by the current output. The latest

integrated in the probe is protected from external influences by a
