Dytran Redesigns Ultra Low Noise Cables |
| |
Dytran
Instruments is pleased to announce the redesign of our ultra low
noise cables. This includes the following model numbers: 6013A, 6019A,
6025A, 6036A, 6049A and 6056A. Prior to this change, these cables met
all industry standard requirements for low noise cables. The benefit of
the revision is that Dytran’s low noise cables now exceed the
performance of competitors’ low noise cables and takes us to a whole new
era of ultra low noise performance. The revised low noise cables were
designed to reduce triboelectric noise. Triboelectric noise is the
unwanted generation of electrical charges by the chafing together of
insulation layers inside cables during flexing caused by vibration and
shock induced motion. Our new low noise cables were specially treated to
reduce triboelectric noise. ... |

The new MLD 500 and MLD 300 series—simply
innovative |
| |
Leuze
electronic presents Multiple Light Beam Safety Devices and, for the
first time, 3-beam Transceiver systems as well in various function
classes for access guarding, also with Muting. And no additional modules
are necessary! It is advantageous from a cost effectiveness and optimum
usability standpoint to use safety sensors that are characterized by
functions that match the specific requirements of the given application
as closely as possible. Leuze electronic developed the new MLD 300 (type
2, PLd) and MLD 500 (type 4, PLe) series Multiple Light Beam Safety
Devices especially with this in mind. The individual models of the
respective series are equipped with certain features and capabilities
(function classes). By selecting a given function class, the user can
appropriately determine the performance of his safety sensor for the
application and the respective requirements. For example, the
start/restart interlock and contactor monitoring functions are available
and, if necessary, various Muting modes can be selected. As a result,
the series can be used both as standard access guarding as well as for
applications where sequential, parallel or partial Muting is required.
Additional Muting devices are not required, thus simplifying ... |

Line sensor ParCon with extended
measuring distance |
| |
Baumer
complements its line sensor family ParCon with a new long-range version
for distances of up to 200 mm. With the ParCon line sensors web edges in
the packaging, textile, or paper industry can be measured precisely and
therefore positioned exactly. Additionally, object widths can be
determined, regardless of the objects’ position within the measuring
field. The result is issued as an analog value (4…20 mA) that can be
processed easily. Thanks to the high measuring frequency of up to 1 kHz,
it is possible to measure even rapidly moving objects precisely. At the
same time the sensor operates with a resolution of up to 0.1 mm. Due to
the extended measuring distance, the sensor provides new possibilities,
especially in applications where widths are measured. Furthermore, the
sensor can be mounted more flexibly, e.g. when greater distances between
the sensor and the object to be detected are required. The compact
housing (34 x 16.5 x 67 mm) contains sender, receiver, special optics
for creating the parallel beam as well as the evaluation electronics.
Therefore, only a reflector is needed to operate the sensor. It is
delivered with the sensor either as a reflector clamp or a self-adhesive
reflecting foil. This concept offers a new, cost-effective alternative
and facilitates the installation considerably. .. |
