For over 30 years cavity pressure has been the process parameter of
greatest importance in evaluating molding conditions. It is not for
nothing that experts regard this variable as the fingerprint of
injection molding. The curve of the cavity pressure for a particular
process and molding is just as distinctive and unmistakable as the human
fingerprint. It uniquely identifies the quality of each and every
component. Deviations from the optimum are clear indications of
fluctuations in the process that lead to molding defects ranging from
incomplete mold filling to flashing or dimensional discrepancies.
Predominantly used for optimization and analysis of the injection
molding process in the initial years,
cavity pressure measurement is now
synonymous with every molding achieving the required quality through
100% monitoring of volume production, and with rapid, systematic

 The
HRTL 96B laser light scanner from Leuze electronic for horizontal
positioning, overshoot control, safeguarding the operation of cranes,
compartment occupation checks in intralogistics systems. The multitalent
is especially well suited for positioning tasks and reliable object
detection. It is mounted on the high-bay storage device for safely
positioning pallets on shelf racks in automatically operated, single-,
double- or multi-depth storage systems. With its very good b/w detection
thresholds, the scanner can determine whether a compartment is occupied.
It works on the principle of pulse propagation time measurement. As a
result, other light sources, far and near interfering contours, rounded
shelf edges and different surface colours or materials—such as
reflecting pallet foils and different, even dynamic, backgrounds, like
passing storage and retrieval units for high-bay warehouses—are no
problem for the scanner. Thanks to its large detection range from 50 to
6000 mm, the scanner replaces the complex, mechanical overshoot controls
on the shelves by inspecting the position of the pallet in the shelf
compartment and its protrusion during the bring/fetch process. This
increases process reliability considerably and reduces the work and

launches it’s first member of the second generation of integrated BLDC
Motor Controllers: the MLX81200. This new product features TruSense and
SineDrive technologies opening new doors for system integration of
automotive BLDC motor applications. TruSense technologies combine
reluctance measurement with BEMF sensing for detection and tracking of
the rotor position allowing a robust motor operation in a wide dynamic
range in harsh environments. This Melexis second generation sensorless
BLDC motor controllers feature dedicated Hardware blocks as well as
patented motor control algorithms to guarantee fail safe and robust
sensorless operation under stringent automotive conditions. On the fly
rotor position sensing allows fast start up to nominal speed within
70ms. The patented BEMF (Back Electromotive Force) sensing using a phase
integrator enables operation from ultra low to high motor speeds under
fast varying load conditions. The SineDrive motor control allows shaping
the motor current to optimize efficiency and torque ripple for each
motor, especially important for applications like engine cooling fans
and HVAC blowers. Furthermore sensorless Sinewave motor control also
reduces audible noise, conducted and radiated emissions simplifying the
