new BFB 75K fiber optic base unit from Balluff with IP 64
protection offers not only an attractive design, but also extraordinary
switching accuracy and switching frequency. The use can choose from
among the economical basic model for all standard applications, a
high-end version with maximum flexibility for special requirements, and
an identical version with the addition of an analog output. All models
use a powerful red light emitter for generous sensing and scanning
ranges, an NPN and PNP output, and are prepared for DIN rail mount. The
basic model features a teach-in button as well as two LED indicators,
and can like all other models be configured intuitively by pressing a
button or via an external control line. Since seldom needed functions
have been left out, this model represents an especially economical
solution. The high-end amplifier for maximum performance and flexibility
features a 12-bit processor, a high switching frequency of up to 8 KHz

redesigned LCF400 Tension &
Compression Load Cell. The new design
features structural changes and complete welding which drastically
improves this models output symmetry and accuracy. In addition to this,
the LCF400 is now available with USB output and metric threads. The
model is offered in 500 to 5,000 lbs, various outputs (3 mV/V, +/-5VDC,
+/-10VDC, 4-20 mA), and uses heat-treated 17-4 Stainless Steel
construction for optimal performance. The modified LCF400 has advantages
of zero-joint failure, low impact due to extraneous loads, and has the
capability of handling off center loading more efficiently and
effectively. In order to better serve FUTEK customers, a consistent
process is used to provide the best Sensor Solutions. Because FUTEK’s

photoelectric sensors with its manifold technologies and product
versions now appears in a new guise, offering a broad variety of new
options. The new, transparent rear housing section allows the sensor
interior to be readily observed. The decisive advantage: Operating and
reception LEDs can be viewed from practically every angle – offering a
decisive advantage during sensor installation, adjustment and operation.
The plug connection has also been optimized. The 4-pin M8 connector
(S35A) is now available in a new metal version. This results in greater
resilience and increased torque values. Reworking the housing design
also allowed to create additional connector versions: Aside from an S35A
metal connector, a new cable version and a new M12 (S14) connector
version are also available. The cable version in particular captivates
thanks to its specific features: The patented cable channel has been
designed to allow users to lay the cable flush against the sensor
housing whenever space is at a premium, thus requiring no additional
depth space as is the case, for example, with a plug-in connector. In
the same way, the cable channel can also face towards the back or

Instruments are delighted to announce they have extended their
successful Sensor Calibration Exchange Program to the recently
introduced Easidew TX I.S. Dew Point Transmitter. The key to the
Michell’s Calibration Exchange Program is the innovative Easidew sensor
technology. Michell Instruments’ Advanced Ceramic Moisture Sensor is
coupled with advanced microprocessor based measurement circuitry to
produce a fully calibrated and interchangeable sensor transmitter. All
calibration data is stored within the transmitter’s flash memory and so
calibration exchange, or service, can be affected in seconds, even by
untrained personnel. The Easidew TX I.S. is simply disconnected, removed
from its sampling block and replaced by a new fully calibrated unit.
When periodic re-certification is required to maintain traceability.
Michell will organise an individual exchange programme for the customer,
so that the process is never out of operation. The Easidew TX I.S.
series is designed for ease of use, incorporating all the features the
user could want to make installation and operation as simple as

ultra high total accuracies. An internal ASIC compensates sensor offset,
temperature effects and non-linearity to allow for an excellent Total
Error Band (TEB) better than ±0.5 %FSS. The
pressure sensors provide
digital interfaces with I²C bus protocol and analog 0.5 … 4.5 V output
signals. The HDI series offers absolute, differential and gage pressure
measurement in various ranges from 10 mbar up to 10 bar. The sensors
feature unidirectional, bidirectional or barometric calibrations and are
intended to be used with air and non-corrosive gases. Optional 3 V
supply voltage versions and special low power devices make the HDI
series ideal for battery powered applications, e.g. in portable or

range of force sensors enabling the check and control the clamping force
cabin on ropeway as well as emergency brake forces. Based on strain
gauges technology, the SK-01 sensor is measuring the force along the
clamping distance and not only on a single point. It is easy to install
and suitable for outdoor use (stainless steel construction). The sensor,
which has 1% of accuracy, can also be delivered with accessories such as
amplifier and specific display. This sensor is available in two
different ranges: one for ropes of diameter 20 to 38 mm for forces up to
300 kN, the other for ropes of diameter 40 to 60 mm for forces up to 400
kN. The adaptation to the specific rope diameter is made by mean of
shells surrounding the sensor body. Thanks to its flexibility and

bolt option. The IP67 rating optimizes the ViSmart sensor for use in

entire ViSmart
